We all have the potential to feel better than we do, even when life seems fine on the surface. But if you're here, chances are something hasn’t felt quite right for a while. The good news is, that can change, and often more easily than you expect. Our bodies have an incredible, natural ability to heal, and by tapping into that innate wisdom, we can navigate challenges, process difficult experiences, and move towards a deeper sense of well-being.

I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, spirituality, body image, and life transitions. Much of my work has focused on supporting individuals affected by developmental and childhood trauma, survivors of sexual abuse, and those dealing with PTSD, helping them navigate the complexities of healing and personal transformation.

My approach to therapy is holistic and personalized to fit your unique needs, but it is deeply rooted in Somatic Experiencing and the principles of Natural Lifemanship. I believe that true healing happens within the body and in the safety of supportive, attuned relationships. Through this connection, we can unlock the inner resilience and strength that already exists within you.

I would be honored to accompany you on your journey towards healing.

A beautiful thing about our bodies is that our bodies can talk to us. Our bodies can provide us with data that can be beneficial to our mental and physical state of being. Breaking down and analyzing that data can be key to understanding what we need to help ourselves.

We can discuss trauma recovery, relationship intimacy (including monogamy, polyamory, and open relationships), sex positivity, BDSM and kink, peer relationships, family relationships, body image, anxiety, stress, depression, self growth, and life transitions. I also specialize in working with Deaf & Hard of Hearing (D/HH) folks, issues in D/HH identity and culture, and parents and family members of D/HH children. I can provide therapy in American Sign Language (ASL).

Compassion, curiosity, and consideration are at the heart of my work. I provide an affirming, person-centered,  and non-judgmental space where we can collaborate on your journey toward growth, healing, and self-understanding. I love helping people to learn what's truly important to them, build empowerment, strengthen self-advocacy, develop a deeper sense of self, and enhance emotional regulation skills. I've had success doing that with adults, young adults, and adolescents.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, stress, healthy relationships, communication, perfectionism, social and cultural pressure, self-esteem, emotional development, and supporting first-generation students. I believe in honoring your strengths, meeting you where you are, and creating a safe space for vulnerability. I also recognize that healing happens at your own pace, so we will make decisions about what you are ready to try and when.

Life comes with immense pressures, and you deserve validation for exactly who you are. My goal is to help you understand your unique system, cultivate self-compassion, and navigate challenges in ways you feel good about. You are capable of doing this work—and you don’t have to do it alone. I look forward to supporting you on your path.

Senior Clinician & Life in Balance Coach

Therapy is an organic and dynamic process. Often people seek therapy to gain more clarity related to a particular aspect of their life journey. No matter the reason, therapy offers a sacred judgment-free zone to allow you to pause and shift from “doing” to “being in the present”. In our work together, we will explore where you are today, and strategies to manifest where you want to be in your future.

I work with individuals and couples who seek to improve the quality of their lives and relationships.

I do not believe in the “one size fits all” approach. We will co-design a plan to reach your unique hopes, goals, and dreams for the future. I utilize a client-centered, strength-based & solution-focused approach. My clients have said they find my style to be warm, supportive, engaging & collaborative.

My services are grounded in culture. While I welcome all clients, some clients express their appreciation for having the opportunity to work with a therapist who is able to be an ally based on shared lived experiences.

In our work, you will be encouraged to be curious. Through curiosity, you will achieve enhanced self-awareness and personal insight.

I believe we all have what we need inside to live our best life. I would be honored to be a small part of your journey.

Current research indicates that the single greatest factor leading to successful outcomes in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic space for you to breathe, reflect, and be heard. Even when the room we share is virtual, it’s a room where you can feel comfortable to explore at your own pace, cultivating a practice of self-acceptance and self-love as you move forward.

EMDR:

When a traumatic event occurs, the brain goes into survival mode (fight or flight) and the prefrontal cortex goes offline. That’s why memories of the event may be spotty, out of order, or nonexistent, and why a traumatic event may appear not as a memory but as a cluster of symptoms. EMDR is a type of psychotherapy that allows you to process these unprocessed memories so they can be effectively stored away.  Research has found that this type of therapy has been one of the most effective ways to treat trauma and relieve symptoms.

EMDR can also be applied to unpleasant associations, intrusive thoughts, OCD, and other issues.

ARTISTS/WRITERS:

What if your needs are met and it’s time to pursue your dreams? We can explore the artistic/literary pursuits that might have been deprioritized because of crisis, external challenges, self-doubt, or a feeling that you didn’t deserve to do what you want. We’ll unpack the myths of “success” and “failure,” map out the steps of your artistic process, and find ways to integrate your creative self into your life.

Belonging, self-discovery, and emotional growth are at the center of my work. I provide a warm, collaborative, and insight-driven space where we can explore the deeper layers of your experiences. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, helping you uncover unconscious patterns, build self-awareness, and move toward a more empowered life. Therapy with me feels like a genuine, meaningful conversation—sometimes deep, sometimes lighthearted, always rooted in understanding and growth.
